Frees up one more evening in the week for personal and family time. Especially with folks with children this is a real win. We already put in a lot of time in evenings as it its, so the extra time is much appreciated.

Mental health -- the previous point helps sustain the mood among staff.

Gives us a shorter day on Fridays before a class Saturday; opportunity to recharge.

We are fresher and more willing to engage in staff meeting in the morning.

We have more energy for other evening commitments because we are not as burnt out on evening engagements.

More time in the evening helps us prepare better for classes the next day.

No advisory check-in! Sorry, but this loss is actually a win: the check-in was too little time to be productive with advisees on most occasions. It also eats up a lot of time because you have to go to and from, and prepare, for another mini-class.
