         <description><![CDATA[<div>Being prepared to take notes is almost as important as the notes themselves. Having an organizational standard you are comfortable with is a must going in.<br><br>Be it pen or computer, the best method of note taking is the one you will use consistently.<br><br>You may need to include different strategies based upon the course you are taking. Note taking strategies in college are not always one size fits all.<br><br>Be aware of different strategies such as: Cornell method, outlining, charts and tables, concept mapping and visual note taking, and shorthand. Each strategy has its own unique benefits, as well as shortcomings.<br><br>Annotate your notes to clarify important sections or topics for further review. To much highlighting or markings may be just as bad as none at all, remember to only mark the important things.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Section size is determined by you and necessity.&nbsp;<br><br>Underline or highlight main ideas of the text, making sure to only select the important ones.<br><br>If you reach a difficult section of text, read it aloud to yourself, allowing the brain to engage with the material using multiple senses<br><br>Go back over there material, making sure all necessary information has been noted<br><br><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Focusing solely on one upcoming exam will only create a backlog, likely increasing future stress.<br><br>Arrive to your exam calm and collected.&nbsp;<br><br>Pay attention to any instructions the professor gives you, as there may be changes to the questions themselves or what is required to answer.<br><br>Read over the test and allocate time needed for sections appropriately.<br><br></div>]]></description>
