Will all students understand the lesson the first time?

No, I expect that some students will struggle with this lesson and its skills and concepts the first time. Telling time can be difficult as there are many rules that students need to remember, and it is very easy to make mistakes. That's why I chose two tools that will work in the long term to help students better understand the concepts.

Will you need differentiation?

Yes, I will need differentiation in this lesson. Students who struggle in literacy or math will likely need more targeted instruction and assistance when completing their work. They may also need headphones so that their devices can read the questions to them.

Will you need alternative ways to teach the lesson?

Yes, students would most definitely benefit from having the lesson taught to them using both clock applications/ tools and hands-on adjustable clocks. For the students to get the most out of the lesson, I need to create several experiences for them to connect to and learn from.
