Caswell brings over 25 years of experience to his role as a special education teacher for the Capital School District in Dover. He joined the district in 2013. Stephen V. Caswell serves as part of the teaching staff of its Students Transitioning towards Adult Readiness (STAR) program, which helps 11th- and 12th-grade students with disabilities prepare for the transition to adulthood. With a bachelor’s in exceptional education from Buffalo State College, Stephen V. Caswell started his teaching career at Copenhagen Central School in New York. He spent three years at the school and subsequently completed a reading specialist master’s at Canisius College and a master’s in educational leadership and administration at Wilmington College. Stephen V. Caswell joined the Academy of Loss Prevention & Private Investigation in 2005. He spent one year with the Phoenix, Arizona-based start-up adult learning academy and oversaw recruitment.
