         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Indian Removal Act was an act that forced the Native Americans to move out of their ancestral lands. There was gold found in the land of the Cherokee so they forced them and other tribes to move to present day Oklahoma and Arkansas. An American man came and asked the Natives to sign a treaty that made them go out of their land but they refused because it was their ancestral land and because they didn't want to move. But 3 rebellious people decided to sign the treaty and then the Natives killed them but by the time they went to the Supreme Court for help it was too late.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Attack on Fort Sumter was an attack that was caused by the Confederates so they could seize Fort Sumter. Confederate General, B.G Beauregard was the general for the Confederates and led the Confederates to take hold of Fort Sumter. He asked for the Union to surrender but the Union did not so he attacked Fort Sumter. The Union then surrendered  and luckily no one died.</p>]]></description>
