         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Igloolik area before the houses were built there would only come together during Easter and Christmas. They'd mainly come to Igloolik to get together and when they would celebrate together.&nbsp; Because there weren't any houses the RCMP and the nurses would only come by dogsled. Before the community was actually a community this was the first store Igloolik had and this building had no electricity and it was cold with no heat. Before the houses were built there were many different camps around Igloolik area, they would only come to the community to buy groceries in this small shack store. Susan was not sure exactly what year it was built but she said it was already built when she was born.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
