1) In a TV show and movie they always portray teens as horrendous and doing bad things. Take Mean Girls for example, there are barely any high schools that have people who act that badly in the hallways and everywhere else. If anyone in the show or movie does what they are supposed to they are considered a nerd or dork.

2) If teens have phones or don't have chores they are considered spoiled. When in reality, teens have phones to talk to their family and friends and to live their lives a little. Some teens don't have chores but still do whatever their parents tell them to do and if they see their parents working too hard they will ask them if they need help and will give the help needed.

3) Whenever you see a teen on the news it's always for doing something bad such as gang activities. A very small group of teens do bad things but only that group has people going on the news which causes all teens to look bad and cold-hearted.

4) Most teens are known to always be on their phones and never get any work done. Even though some teens are on their phones a lot they always get the work done that they are supposed.

Some people probably think that teens are portrayed well but that is false. Some teenagers are very immature and don't do anything well but that isn't the case for most teenagers. Some people only see the bad teenagers so they never see the teenagers that are always good.
