I am able to manage my time according to the needs of my work load, solve unexpected problem and bring my students out of their cocoon with my friendliness.

Weakness:

unfortunately, I am very bad at remembering names and ways to the classes and ended up walking in circle.

The best colleagues, supportive and kind and always here to help.

Threat:

The ways of the school towards the timing and lack of period bell always made me lost track of time.

Our business was done before afternoon; thanks to our easy going mentor and friendly colleagues. Two of them were alumni of UPTM and its good to know that we are not alone. Being on the stage during the morning assembly instead of the other side was like a slap of reality to the face. Here we are, actual teachers with a name tags on our chest, toes in heels, book clutched in arms and brain buffering as new knowledge loading into our brain.

4A was a new experience as I have never involve myself with the syllabus. My mentor was satisfied with my lesson plan, impressed even and it got me in a good mood all morning. The students were a little passive and shy, perhaps because they were only 14 of them. Despite the silence, they participate actively during the activity and exercise. Clever students, all of them! But a 7:30 class was hard to entertain and deny sleepiness.

1R though...I regret leaving my water bottle. My mouth were dry, sore and my head was spinning. They were barely 20 of them and they are already such a handful. Proficiency levels were mixed but they all equally participated. Need a lot of verbal supports such as affirmation every time they did something. Such appreciative little bunch.

Enough with woes, the co-curricular activities were exellent. I enjoyed getting to know more students, teachers and I got to relive my favourite sport - petanque. Though I was put under the hockey club, the court were right next to each other.

We were told that the school is almost done with co-cu activities so we didn't have the chance to join much. But we make do and try to get involve as much as possible. The first week is almost over and we are familiarising ourselves better than expected.

The students were considerate though. They became calmer, more respectful and actually listens to me. The 4A class actually opened up compared to when I first came into their class on Tuesday.

They said that "It was too early and you seem fierce with your red hijab and lipstick on," and it genuinely made me smiled. Well, t's only the first day so...15 more weeks to go!

Perhaps it was the co-curricular activity taking a toll on me First time going back home late and due to heavy traffick, we arrived home at almost 7pm. I lost track of what to do, what to eat and what to feel - I just wanted sleep!

But I pushed through and need up with three lesson plans and a simple meal before going to bed as early as 10.30p.m. praying hard for myself right now huhu :(

I am able to refine my lesson plan by constructing a specific instructions during activity and exercises.

Weakness:

Still got lost both in the school and in time...I am really bad at keeping tracks of things :(

Outspoken students made it clear for me on what to change for the better according to their needs.

Threat:

I need to be more hardworking in double, triple, quadruple checking on things for my lesson plans.

I got a lot of relief classes as I do not have any class of my own today. but it was nothing I couldn't handle. But having no ringing bell to indicate the end of a period still messed up with my timing but I make due just fine. Ask the student anything and they will gladly help.

I used my time to print out the name list for each classes, try to memorise their names and finish all lesson plans for the whole week. I promise to do better then I did during diploma!

I did not double check the instructions, the items needed and the proficiency of the teaching aids. I believed I handled it well because the outcome were as expected, the success criteria were reached and students eventually grasped the full idea of the activity.

My 4M students talk a lot more compared to other classes and really made me feel welcome. It wasn't hard to connect with them and they truly boosted my spirit to come to school everyday.

moreover, we got our first co-curricular activity duty! I must admit how responsible the students are at providing for themselves. All we did was make sure everyone is in one place, took their attendance and they are off to their usual activity.

The instructions were crystal clear, I triple checked the teaching aids AND provided more than enough items that my students might need. That has save a lot of time from their part and I really, really, really got to finish my whole lesson!

I am so proud of myself that I keep praising and talking about it non-stop to Pipi...and my sisters and my mama and in this journal...hehe.

Gallery walk was fun but they somehow hesitated in giving feedbacks to other group's work. I consulted with my mentor and came up with solution of providing vocabularies and phrases for them first before comment session.

I hope I can add that for the next lesson and see the difference. Everyday is a learning day right?

I am getting good at this teaching thing. Confidence in presenting and establishing class rules are very helpful.

Weakness:

Still struggled with my LP especially for form 1 because their grammar elements requires a lot of talking and predictions.

Pipi and I are in-charged of the editing team with two form 3 students...I had a feeling that we won't be as big of a help cause these kids are too good with their fancy apps on their Ipad and mics and AI tools.

It was a little bit of a shocker how SEJAYA has made a name for themselves among the participants every year. This year they aimed for the second place and I wish them good luck!

Today is the first day of exam for the lower forms and Pipi and I are also preparing on facing it. It's finally our turn to hand out the papers, establish the rules and make sure the students are at ease of answering their paper.

My form 4 still go their Ujian Bertutur BM and they salam my hand, asking for prayers and blessings and it touched my heart that created a core memory as a teacher.

The students wondered, they thought they were tripping or that the teachers somehow got hive mind and wanted to do things together. I get to educate a little about breast cancer awareness month to my students (form 4 as their exam haven't started yet) and I am glad to say that they are more informative than I expected.

Truly feeling proud of them.

3.82 was crazy! 5 subject to score during Ramadhan got me crying most nights but here I am. So worth it!

I had to hold back my tears when I was surrounded by them, panic asking where I was the day before. They thought I already left and insist to take a lot of pictures together, boys and girls.

They are too sweet and my heart just cant take it! I was glad that I got to brief them on their upcoming examination though. I hope they are fully prepared for this.

But the GK HEM - Pn. Azma as well as a fellow form 3 teacher, Zu were there to supervise us!

Due to the ASEAN Summit, we had to use toll roads but it was worth while as the activities held was celebrated well by the students.

I get to experience the feeling of sacrificing my free time for students.

Weakness:

The laziness hits when I have to get up early on a Saturday.

Opportunity:

Everything is possible with students' smiles and Pipi positivism!

Threat:

The unfamiliarity of form 3 topics and learning focus.
