I would like to give a shout out to Mr. Forte. With all the uncertainty of these last few weeks he has been so good at making my daughter Jordan feel at ease. She's been worried about her grades and Mr. Forte has been a friendly face too see during their online meetings. He has a way to calm her and great about explaining the work. Thank you Mr. Forte for just being you. We appreciate it.

I would like to give a shout out to Mrs Anita Miller. Thank for everything you have done for my son. You went beyond your teacher duties to make him feel comfortable while at QHHS. Also thank you for pushing him when he needed to be pushed. Without you he may have never got that diploma. You will be missed.

I just wanted to say thank you for making my last two years of high school amazing and fun. Mrs. Martinez, im going to miss going up to you & showing you my videos & hanging out in your classroom during lunch. I spent the majority of my junior year in there. You’re an amazing teacher and I love how you allowed us (students) to be in control yet you always made sure to let us know that you were always there to help. Yearbook definitely made me more creative and confident. I was always proud of every single video i turned in. I enjoyed making videos and letting my voice be heard when it came to any decisions regarding the yearbook. I will definitely miss you & your classroom. Mrs Gibbs, You made APUSH really fun and Econ & Civics were great. Im going to miss hearing a classic rock song playing as i walk in, and asking if you have a bottle of water haha! I know many students were upset about your most important rule (no phones out) but i never minded. Your classroom was always a fun place without a phone in my hand and the way you teached made me forget all about that phone. Thank you for being passionate about art it made me love art even more. I really never truly wanted to accept that I loved art I knew I wasn’t good at it but I liked it and I learned so much in your class not just by you but by the creative students that sat around me too. My daughter had Algebra-2 10th grade with Mr.Dabo.
She learned so much from him & his way of teaching math-it was amazing!! He has patients and is willing to help his students.He gives his students another way to look at math.

He recommended my daughter take pre-Calk over her 10th grade summer school and she flew through it.It wasn’t an easy class, but he gave her great tools to work with. She understood the math & received an A+ in her class.

My daughter is currently in Calculus 11th grade, but had a different teacher for her 1st Semester. It was taught in a different styles so my daughter couldn’t grasp it and was super frustrated & upset.
We emailed Mr Dabo for help and he took time out to tutor Syd . We ended up Transferring back into Mr. Dabo Calculus for 2nd Semester. Yea!!!! She understands it again and she is back on top with an A. He is an amazing Teacher & Human and always willing to help his students.

I can't thank you enough for all of the time and effort you put in to your class. Before entering your class I knew close to nothing about planes or any flying object for that matter. By the end of it all I got to learn about aircraft and automobiles and my personal favorite, drones. Even though we were not able to compete at the end of it all, I have great memories and a heck of a lot more knowledge than I did at the start! Last but most definitely not least, Mr. Mesler. This is gonna be a long one so prepare yourself. Where do I start? You made it possible for both of our QHHS robotics teams to continue. Without you, countless students would not have ever been introduced to the joy that is FRC. I know that at times the team could be frustrating, not always working so fast, but let me tell you, I have made some life long friends in that club. Robotics is what got me interested in engineering and what made me decide on my career. It really has made such a huge impact on my life and I couldn't have had the experiences I have now without you. Senior year wouldn’t have been the same without walking into Mrs. Gibbs class every morning!! She made it very special because she always played a morning song for us seniors!! Mrs. Gibbs made interesting and creative lesson plans in order to help her students understand the material which was super awesome. I appreciate how hard she worked for us, she was up all night and all morning making quizzes and lesson plans!! I especially loved our Supreme Court Case final, it was so much fun!! Mrs. Gibbs was always pushing us to do our best (even when senioritis kicked in) and I really appreciate it. AP Gov wouldn’t have been the same without Mrs. Gibbs, thank you for everything!! I love all my teachers but Mrs Vanderzee, Mr Harris, Mrs Hazard, really helped me this year.

Mrs Vanderzee is so amazing and great and I love having her for my teacher this year. When she is giving lectures she puts it in a way that I understand and she has so much enthusiasm when she teaches you can just see that she loves to teach. I don't like to write essays, but in her class I was able to write a pretty good essay.

Mr Harris is the best culinary teacher I've ever had, granted he is the only one I know, but that still doesn't change the fact that he is a great teacher! There's a lot more math in culinary chemistry than I thought and it's kind of hard but Mr Harris helps me write down formulas and helps me understand how to get the correct answers.

Miss Hazard is incredible! She's the best PE teacher I've ever had, she has so much enthusiasm and she loves to inspire the kids to do their best. She always makes her classes fun. I love having her for my PE teacher this this.

Mr. Hall is for sure one of the best teachers I have ever had. Really chill guy who also knows how to make sure things get done in his class.
