- Chlamydia is a disease that can spread between men and women. It can spread through the process of intercourse in the forms of vaginal, anal, and oral. Most younger people are at risk for Chlamydia and the only guarantee solution is not being sexually active.

Number Two - Gonorrhea
- Like Chlamydia, Gonorrhea is spread through vaginal, anal, and oral sex. Abstinence, using condoms, and getting tested consistently(including your partner) are three ways to stay safe. It's risk peaks when you have new sex partners or just generally have more than one.

Number Three - Syphilis
- This disease, which usually starts with painful sores can be spread through sexual contact. What makes it dangerous though is that if it goes untreated it can damage your organs.  Risks include kissing, unprotected sex, multiple sex partners, and men having sex together.

3. Seek out Professional Advice

- If you truly don't understand what to think or say about becoming sexually active, you should seek advice.
