Native Citizenship

-Has to be born in the US or in a US territory. (PR, USVI, ETC.)

-One or both of your parents have to be natural US born citizens.

Naturalized Citizenship

-Have to be 18.

-Take a test and an interview.

-Be willing to swear loyalty to the US.

-Stay in the US for a set amount of time. (5 years, less if you're married to a US citizen)

-Have basic English knowledge and knowledge about US history.

So naturalized is definitely a longer and harder process. But that's for a good reason. You don't know who is a criminal or a spy.

What if you are not a native citizen? What do you need to know to be able to begin the process of naturalized Citizenship?

-So first off, if you don't have good character, good luck with that. They interview you to see your character. So be a good and polite person.

-Second off, study US history and research things about our government. You'll be taking a ten question test and you will have to get six questions right. There are 100 questions you may possibly get. So do your study and research!

-And lastly, study basic english! How could you be a basic US citizen if you barely know any english.

-Oh and make sure you pack well enough, because you'll have to live there 5 years (or less if you're married) to be a US citizen.

-You have rights in responsibilities in communities as there is in the US. This nation in itself is ONE community.

-Home, School, Your city, State, is all a community too. They all have different responsibilities and rights. Adhere to them.

-I'll give one example. Let's say at home. You live under your parents' rules. So do your chores. It's your right to eat food and have your own bedroom. But a chore is a responsibility and if you don't do it you may get punished.

I value three big things about the US.

Freedom

-I know a lot of people may argue about this. But compared to many other countries, we have the most freedom by far. There are countries that can legally hurt you and take you to jail over opinions! Let that sink in.

Rules

-Justice may not always prevail unfortunately but the rules are implemented well. Most times than not, justice is served.

Food

-Okay all countries have good food and this is definitely random. But I love how America has people from all over the world. It's very diverse and has diverse food choices as well.
