I learned that when tectonic plates spread apart they create volcanoes and when they come together they create mountains. I also learned that Tectonic plates are moved by the pressure of the inner core released to the mantle that pushes rock and molten objects to the surface and that cause the ground to move and when objects are too heavy they are pushed to the bottom of the mantle. Also that Tectonic plates are around 62 miles thick. It was very fun learning how tectonic plates work.
