fecundity-produce new ideas for consumer
longevity-long lasting and relevant
replicability-ablity to be copied
intertexuality-good relation with mode of choice

Cultural connection
Reliability

Can memes have negative effects :

memes can be offesive but that adds to the idea that they are created for different audiences 

Memes in the classroom:
students can use to show understanding for a topic
it is popular to see historical references
