Sam Gaze won a race in the 2018 Commonwealth games but it wasn’t best sport about. He pulled some rude hand gestures at his teammate after he past him instead of being happy for him.
When being a good sport you should always support your team and the other competitors.

    • Yes because he’s the greatest player of all time.  He constantly shows respect like in the 2015 finals when he lost the GSW.  He went up and congratulating the team who he just lost the championship to shaking their hands after they broke a 40 year title drought.  He also did the same congratulating Kevin Durant when he won his first title after 2017 finals against GSW.  Examples are all pointing to him being a great player and even better man.

You can’t be the best without having good sportsmanship. Good sportsmanship is key to winning because people will respect your win and will think that you actually deserve it. winning just feels better when you have good sportsmanship to match it. I honestly believe that winning goes hand in hand with sportsmanship because people would be wanting you to win more in future games and will support you more knowing you are a good sportsman.

Gaze is a really good rider and he would have been under alot of pressure, when he has too pump up bis tires halfway through the race.  But that means nothing, pulling the finger at your teammate/ competier. If I was Anton Cooper I most likely wouldn’t have stopped either. I do also see why Sam Gaze was mad, you're teammate has a flat tire just stop and quickly help them too get them back up and running. Its and individual sport so he had no reason to stop.

Being a good is more than respecting one another, being fair, having a good losing and winning attitude, it's also about not putting each other down, respecting how one one another choose to play and respecting yourself. He should’ve shown good sportsmanship for being a role model to his fans as he was focusing on himself.

I know having competitiveness and persistence is key in sports to a certain extent. This is why it is important to not only train physically but mentally.

    For example Billy Slater hurt his knee in 2013 and went back to early now he has never played as well as he used to.

    I think he is best to stay out for the game to have time to recover properly.

    I dont dont think its a very good idea because it will just get way worse then it first was.
    He could possibly get caught up in a awkward tackle and buckle it bad enough to hurt it alot more than it already is.
    Ben henry who used to play for the warriors and is now a member used to come back from injury a lot earlier than he should of came back.
    Why it's important because he is one of the warriors star hookers and really has a good effect to the game.

    he was facing a lot of hate he loved what he did and his trainer pushed him through very hard challenges he was shooting bad and missing 40% free throws and 60% threes his trainer was his dad lavar ball.

    He trained at his house

    And he trained and now he's shooting 80% threes and
    90% free throws.
