Reflecting after events it's very important but also reflecting every day will make people think and learn about their actions. At the end of each month, she writes a journal entry assessing her achievement level regarding the goals she had previously set. She also briefly analyzes the reasons behind her progress or setbacks, using these insights to refine her approach for the next months. This continuous cycle of reflection and adjustments enables her to improve effectively.

I assume almost every adult demonstrates reflective IBLP. However, I have one adult I respect—Jang Wonyoung from IVE. She became a K-POP idol when she was 15, and she constantly reflects herself by looking at the reaction on social media, and her appearance while on stage. She improves by understanding what her weakness is, and pursues to improve. That is why we recognize her as a perfect idol. The part I respect the most is that she does not do this for her own sake. She does it for her fans.

16 S.M.

Vincent van Gogh demonstrates the reflective IB learner profile through his expressionist paintings.

Van Gogh's paintings can be interpreted as being reflective of his mental health, as he used colours to symbolise his emotions. For instance, his work At Eternity's Gate, which depicts a sorrowing old man—who represents van Gogh—sitting hunched over in a chair, uses the colour blue to indicate despair and melancholia. Van Gogh seems to process his emotions through his expressionist art, producing some of his most evocative and meaningful works during his time in the mental hospital, a period of severe decline in mental health.

K.S. #9

Even though she lost her eyesight and had a hearing disability at a young age, she never gave up on living her life to encourage the elderly and people with disabilities to read and write. She had reflected on her old times when she was little, remembering the person who she had gained support with, and whom she continuously motivated her life. This led her to contribute and devote herself to the development of education and the welfare of the disabled. As well as, visiting many parts of the world to convey the necessity of measures for the disabled, reflecting on what she needs as essentials in a disability position to raise awareness.

#15 R.H

People should reflect things when they feel like they are repeating their past mistakes again. When they're repeating some kind of bad things, it will be connected with getting the same results with the last one. This also means that they got a perfect chance to change the results in a good way. To do that, we need to reflect and think about the mistakes carefully and change the result. They could look back at their situations and think about the other solutions that would let them achieve a different result. Reflecting is useful to change a result of a problem, and it is also useful to share their own mistakes with others to try to avoid others to do the same mistakes with them. It will make all of them a different result and get a chance to reflect on things. Therefore, I think reflecting will be work great when we got some kind of similar situations as the past mistakes we had made.

My reflection doesn't come from a single person since I claim myself to be quite extra careful on big decision. Instead, if I make a reflection from someone else's action, I would will need like many examples. From my real life experience, it is probably from the internet. I found out something that is very unusual for me such as the people's opinion on certain thing, let's take the marijuana as an example since that's what I actually witnessed, I know that certain part of the world legalize the use of cannabis but I did not know how confident the people are about the legalization of the cannabis until the poll I saw on the Youtube and its comment section. The poll was something like "should weed be legal or illegal?" and the answer choice is like yes, no and unsure(?). I personally clicked on the no option which reveals how other people answer the question, the majority overwhelmingly answered "yes" I was like "Huh?" so I checked out the commentsection and so many people argued that the cannabis are way safer than the alcohol and the tobacco since they kill less people and have cause way less violence, unlike alcohol which can cause domestic violence and car crashes and all that kind of stuff. While on the other hand, the weed doesn't really cause that so people are arguing that the marijuana should be legal as long as the alcohol and tobacco are legal. I don't remember people in the comment section really disagree or say the other wise about this topic, maybe there were but I just don't remember. So, I did a lot of research about this specific topic and it appears that the results are different based on where you did the research. And it's not like I searched on a bad website, I did the research on the website that are fairly reliable like the government or from the official institution. For example, I checked out the official police website from the prefecture of Gunma and its view on the marijuana is no good which is very expected. This appears when I searched in Japanese, when I search in English, I don't remember specifically where is from but I remembered it's from an official website and a lot of them supported the use of marijuana. So if you may ask what does all of this have to do with my reflection? Well, it reflected me that there REALLY are some opinion including mine that are extremly different from others and the influence of the government or the local view really does shift the people's opinion, for example, I don't know about other people but I am always exposed to the stereotypes that the californian people always smoke the weed and I do believe that but I did not know that the idea of the use of marijuana are THAT strong. So, this suggest that some stereotypes aren't just a stereotypes. It's like a huge culture shock.

15# Daiki Tsuchiya
