I am King James I and I am the first Puritan King who took over after the great Queen Elizabeth. I was the first King of England to translate the Bible into English, calling it the King James Bible. I was honored as the namesake for the new English settlement in our newly acquired land of America. We named it Jamestown.

I am Oliver Cromwell and I Oliver Cromwell became King after King Charles I was executed for treason against the country. I emerged as the military leader during the English Civil War as the Puritan army General. Because of my success in the English Civil war, I was crowned as the Lord Protector where I ruled England.

I am King Charles II and I became King In 1658 and I had a hard time during the Cromwell ruling and I got exiled to France by Cromwell. I returned to England when Cromwell died and I restored the Monarchy and the time was known as the Restoration. During my reign I sought to heal people wound left by the Civil war.

James II (1685-1688)

I am King James II and I became a King in 1685 and I am the Roman Catholic brother of Charles the II. Charles II has illegitimate 12 children and I was the last to be the Roman Catholic King of England, Scotland, Ireland. A another Catholic King was mad at me and I face a lot of challenges such as regrading religion.

William and Mary (1688-1702)

I am King Mary and I became a King in 1688 and My father was also a King known as King James II and I was raised as a Protestant. I married my first cousin known as William Orange because when the parliament completed the overthrow of King James II they asked William and me to get married. I also passed the English bill of right in 1689 which limited the Monarchy and William and I signed it into the law.
