I think I will try these two:
1.Take a day to be offline - I believe it would be a wonderful change of pace; might do it on Sunday.

2. Take a news black out - instead of reading or watching the news every day as usual I would try to go without that for a day; now, this is a real challenge - to see how it affects you and how much you miss the news.

Who has the lead on stage when you are connecting cables and musical instruments? Those who speak with the engineers? And backliners? With my music students we talked at length, and simulated a music live. I also asked them to analyze the cultural elements of the places where they played music or to avoid sensitive activities and gestures that could be interpreted differently by other cultures and faiths. We had great fun.

From time to time I challenge myself....I've done so when I decided to attend a university course without material support from my family. I changed my life a few years ago when I made the decision to start to teach after having spent several years working in other very different fields. Some of my students appreciated the day I decided to speak frankly with them about some negative school experiences I had. They have their own weaknesses and strenghts. What is really crucial for them is to understand that every time we fail, we have the opportunity to learn what was wrong and above all what we need to change our minds. Working as a team is essential for them, in this particular period.

I divide the class in groups and ask them to publish weekly an online magazine. They use tools like scoop.it, paper.ly, Flipboard so that it doesn’t take much time, for they don’t really have to write the news, but only “curate” the news that are all around.They have to search and publish news related to three areas: the sector and occupation for which they are studying, entrepreneurship and innovation, and finally, whatever it catches their attention. We learn together a lot of new things every week, and the students become more curious and take in some measurement the initiative of their own learning.

Processing this entrepreneurial course, I realize that we have been organizing quite challenging entrepreneurial projects in the past in our school. However, we have always been inventing new, (over) ambitious projects and skipping valuable ones which could be improved with minor changes. I'll present these past, skipped projects again to my colleagues. Thanks to this MOOC, I can present them nicely in an 'entrepreneurial reference framework'.
