The story begins with main character Alek going on a secret riding lesson in his family's Clanker a robot that you can command in the middle of the night. When he wants to turn back he is stopped by his crew learning his parents were murdered and he is being hunted Britain. Mean while in the British Air force A girl named Deryn begins her first day in the milatary pretending to be a boy. The trainer of the cadets in Deryns class stage a test making a cadet go up in one of the fabricated beasts made genetically engineered in a lab. During this time Alek begins his journey to the Alps to be protected by a service to protect royals. During Deryns flight she mavuvers through a deadly storm and is awarded with being on one of the most awarded ships The Levithan as a crew member going to the Switzerland . During her time as a crew member the ship crashes in the Alps as Alek reaches the Alps with his crew.

Oscar was working really hard and his mom decided they should visit Chicago since she wanted to get married to Mr. Morrow. I give this book a 4.5/5

As Norm was daydreaming about the fireworks, His dad asks for a hand and that's exactly what he did, He cut his hand of in the meat grinder. One-Handed Catch is an amazing book by MJ Auch, even with the tough start the book over all is very inspiring. Even after Norm loses his hand, he still goes after his dream to become a baseball player despite everyone telling him he can't do it. When he feels like he can't do something, he gets back up and doesn't give up. Throughout his first year without a hand, Norm shows everybody that he can take on any challenges thrown at him like tying his shoelaces with one hand!

*gasp* Brian the main character over hears the pilot starting to have breathing problems. Brian is a 13 year old boy that is going to see his dad because his parents got devorced because of his mom's secret and while flying his pilot gets a heart attack and Brian is trying to make it alive while the plane starts to go down. The plane lands in to a river but Brian didn't know that he was going to face some challenging obstacles such as mosquitos, bears, wolves, a porquipine, and a smelly skunk. Brain also had to make a fire with only a hatchet that his mom got him. Brian made tools to hunt such as a bow and arrow and a spear. He didn't have much food, the only food that he got was fish, bunnies, and tortoise eggs. Don't forget that he also had a shelter made out of rocks only. Even after having all of these things a huge tornado took everything away except his hatchet. He then used his hatchet to cut a tree and make a raft because he remembers that there was a survival kit. After spending the whole day breaking the top of the plane to get to the survival pack he got it. Inside was food, soap, drinks, matches, water proof box, a rifle, and a random remote. After reading what is said on the remote he pressed the emergency transmitter. Brian saw that nothing changed but will someone get the signal and rescue him? Read the book to find out. The main idea of this text is to never give up even when life gets challenging and you don't know what to do. Overall I give this realistic fiction book named "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen a 5 out of 5 rating.

The theme of this text is that you should always tell the truth because in the text Rob, Quincy, Teddy, and the Bogle twins got a fake picture of a ufo sighting and kept asking journalists to put "Ufo Sighted In Farmington" into a article and they got money from some of the journalists but when people found out it was all a lie they had to give the money back.

Mr Hoppy lives above Mrs Silver in an apartment. they talk everyday and Mrs Silver has a pet tortoise named Alfie. one day he bought 140 tortoises. Mrs silver always weighs Alfie so Alfie's weight is 13 ounces. Mr Hoppy always wanted to have Alfie the tortoise. but one day he stole Alfie because he wanted to have him and switched himnwith another tortoise. one evening Mr Hoppy was watering his plants when suddenly he heard mrs silver shout with excitement "Mr Hoppy Mr Hoppy where are you?" "just look at this" he popped his head over the railing he said "what's up."oh Mr Hoppy it worked she was crying your magic words finally worked again on Alfie He can now get through the door of his little house. "its a miracle". and that's some details. the end. I liked this book it was good I did not know what was going to happen but overall I give this book a 8.5\10 bye
