After the loss, General Cornwallis was forced to flee North Carolina only to lose another battle in Virginia. After the loss he would eventually surrender to General George Washington.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nathanael Green implemented a similar tactic seen in the Battle of Cowpens: three lines of defense with the militia in front, rotating each line after a round of shots were fired. His plan was to make his weaker units disjoint Cornwalls army, and then let his highest ranked men attack the  weakened British, causing massive casualties.</div>]]></description>
