But we were only one species that crossed that bridge. Here is a jewel. The most beautiful snake or elegant racer (Platyceps elegantissimus). For a long time it was mistaken with another ringed racer the Sinai racer (Platyceps sinai). Now we know that the elegant racer origins in Arabia, while the Sinai racer has its roots in Sinai. On their way across the landbridge, they meet in Israel and Jordan along a narrow line drawn by the Wadi 'Arava.
