I love that Nahara comes home and tells me facts she has learned at school. Sometimes the information is new to me, and we become excited together. 

We appreciate Becket-Washington School, its devoted teachers, and its warm accepting atmosphere. We feel so grateful to be a part of the community.

I had the conversation with Jake and how he feels and this is one he had to say :

Mrs. Griffin: “that she is always there for me. When I get frustrated she always helps me.” Mrs. McComish: “She is there for me and she helps me try hard to read, she never makes me feel bad about myself.” Thank you for everything and I hope all the teachers and paras have a wonderful week!!!

I am so impressed with the education my children are receiving at BWS and the AMAZING teachers who are guiding them.  In my opinion, the BWS teachers go above and beyond the call of duty.  They are nurturing, patient, kind, respectful, enthusiastic, creative, inspiring, and tireless. I first observed this as a parent of children enrolled at BWS.  Most recently, I have had the privilege of working with this amazing group of teachers as a substitute teacher.  I have seen first hand how hard these teachers work, how seriously they take their job as educators, how much they love what they do, and how much they care for the children they are teaching.

I would like to thank all of the remarkable teachers at BWS and Mrs. McCloskey for all that you have done for our children and continue to do to provide them with the best education possible!  You really are the BEST!

Another thing is that Becket Washington has NO SCHOOL UNIFORMS! I know that it is odd but I hate school uniforms.

I also like that Becket Washington does things like the museum walk, and field day.

Becket Washington is a really good school!
