         <description><![CDATA[<p>my Name is Joan Joanas</p><p><br/></p><p>I’ll show you few ajaraaq (string games)</p><p><br/></p><p>You need a piece of string (yarn) to play.</p><p><br/></p><p>Cut out a string that is about one adult arm length and tie it together.</p><ol><li><p>The string is now in oval shape.</p></li><li><p>Put your string on both your thumb and pinky</p></li><li><p>Get the string from left with your right tikiq and twist it.</p></li><li><p>Now with your left tikiq get the string from right </p></li><li><p>And let go of your right pinky and thumb.</p></li><li><p>You just made a tupiq.</p><p><br/></p></li></ol><p>I learned ajaraaq from my Dad and my older sister. </p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Here is a video of me teaching ajaraaq(string games) I think its fishing net.(lol)</p><p><br/></p><p>Cognitive and physical domains</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

And also during class activity.</p><p>No Materials needed.</p><p>No material preparation is needed.</p><p>Step-By-Step Instructions for the arm pull activity.</p><ol><li><p>In pair </p></li><li><p>Competitors face each other sitting on the floor</p></li><li><p>One leg is bent and the other is straight.</p></li><li><p>Competitors lock legs and hook right arms at the elbow</p></li><li><p>The other hand is holding ankle of opponents bent leg</p></li><li><p>Opponents pull slowly and steadily at the elbow </p></li><li><p>The object is to try to pull other Opponent over or until opponents hand touches chest of winner</p><p> This traditional game is passed down knowledge </p><p>And I learnt how to play this traditional game in elementary school</p></li></ol><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

Debbie</p></li><li><p>Physical,Social, Emotional</p></li><li><p>One foot high kick is a traditional Inuit game and a marquee event at the arctic winter games.</p></li><li><p>Stand for string, string and stuffed seal toy “to be kicked”</p></li><li><p>High kick stand to be adjust.</p></li><li><p>Start from standing position under the target. Walk or run towards the target. Jump from 2 feet. Kick the target with one foot only. Land on same foot that you kicked the target with. Maintain balance by bouncing on the foot that landed before dropping other foot to the floor.</p></li><li><p>That’s how one foot high kick game does.</p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>My name is Jeannie Jaw</p><p>Physical and cognitive domains</p><p>Sitorktaq is a traditional Inuit game that is often played by kids.</p><ol><li><p>The person playing sitorktaq would have to squat down in a hands-free position</p></li><li><p>The person then would have to thrust out their legs in alternatively, like a Russian type-dancing.</p></li><li><p>The person who kicks the longest wins the sitortaq competition.</p></li></ol><p>We learnt how to do this fun competition back in Elementary.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
