In this meeting sat a bunch of doctors and social workers around a big table to discuss the cancer situation of Hazel. They had good and bad news. The good news were that the medicin “Phalanxifor” controls the tumor growth. But the bad news were that they see problem with the fluid accumulation. In the end of the meeting Hazel heard that her mother told to her father: “I won't be a mother anymore”. So the chances weren’t so good at that time.
When Hazel asked if she could travel to amsterdam, Dr. Maria had no reason to say no. But Dr. Simons had another opinion. So Hazel was not allowed to go because Dr. Simons scared her parents.
The next day Hazel and Augustus sold the old Swing Set from Hazel because it makes her sad. Hazel saw her Swing Set the last time on that day.
One day Hazel got an email from Lidewij. She wrote which hotel they will have and where Mr. Peter Van Houten lives. When Hazel call her mother to tell her she should call them and say that she would not come, there was a big surprise. I'm 7 years old and at this moment I'm sitting in a room with doctor Maria in the hospital. She's very friendly but I don't have a good feeling. I have a problem to breath since a quarter year now and it came worse and worse the last weeks. We went  from doctor to doctor but nobody found something that is wrong. I think doctor Maria found something; and I don't think that it is good. She wanted to speak first with my mother alone and when my mom came out she cried. And now my dad and I also sitting in that room. Doctor Maria says, that i have cancer. A cancer who isn't healable in that stadium anymore. 

My fight begins at this moment and I won't give up.
