Matthew Gelsheimer is an avid Chevrolet Camaro enthusiast and collector. His interest in the model began in 1986 when he purchased his first Camaro, a 1976, followed several years later by a 1982 Camaro Berlinetta. He has since owned numerous Camaros, including 1995, 1998, and 2010 models. Most recently, he has enjoyed the 2019 Camaro SS. Matthew Gelsheimer has shared his love of cars with many Camaro collectors and fans, as well as the executive team at General Motors, who profiled his passion as part of a Camaro-focused campaign.

When he is not managing his Camaro collection, Mr. Gelsheimer’s interests involve contributing to philanthropic initiatives. He has supported more than 10 children in Southeast Asia as a contributor to the One Life Child Sponsorship Program. He has attended the Westside Family Church for two decades, and is a member of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, among other group affiliations.

Matthew Gelsheimer studied administrative management at Missouri State University in Springfield, where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Away from his philanthropic activities, he enjoys staying active by golfing at the Falcon Ridge Golf Club.
