(There is a boy of around 15 -
16 years and an adult elf with silver hair wearing a dark blue tunic, black
pants and boots, with a quiver full of arrows and a strong bow in his hands.
They are in a shadowy room of a castle, and the elf is the one delivering the monologue to the boy)

Do you know why this happened? Are you sure that
you want to know? Fine. I'll tell you. I'll tell you every
single bitter truth that you so want to know.

~ takes deep
breath ~

Xadia is a divided land. Broken and unjust. But it wasn't
always that way. It used to be one. All sorts of magical creatures living in
harmony with humans. But they always wanted more.

~ silence ~

Our world is made of six pure elements, and each magical
creature is bonded to one. Araktik polluted them - destroyed the fragile
balance on which lies the fate of life itself - and created "dark
magic". It sucks the magic out of creatures born with it, killing them in the
process. In our lands, it isn't even considered magic - it is a monstrosity. But it was powerful. Araktik gathered an army.
After the war, you got your own land - Adronia, and the most powerful of
creatures, Azymondrias, the king of dragons, stayed on the border to make sure
that neither side crossed over. And so, Xadia was split in two.

~ silence ~

Decades passed. Your father was crowned king, with one of
these poisonous 'majickers' as his advisor. Things were fine. Then one winter,
Adronia broke the agreement. You may have had your reasons. But it could not be
ignored. You came into our lands and slayed a starbuck! Azymondrias caught
you carrying the body into Adronia, and stopped you. Your mother sacrificed
herself in the ensuing battle to buy the others enough time to cross the border
with the fallen starbuck. And the next year, your father felled Azymondrias. (Eyes squeezed shut, single
tear slides down) It was to avenge your mother. But hate breeds hate.

Your father is a good man. But everyone in Xadia knows him
only as the killer of the dragon king. You have pushed too far on our
boundaries. Taken too much. Tonight, they take back. They will not be stopped by all those extra guards. By tomorrow
morning, the king will be dead and Adronia in chaos. You cannot come. But I
cannot stay.

You know why this happened? You really wanna know?? Okay, let me tell you.

I was just walking down the street when I heard a boom from her house. I went to see what’s going on and guess what, she was in her back yard with a cracker. I start to go out of her back yard but (silence) she had already burst the cracker and her whole back yard was on fire. And now I was in her back yard with her which was on fire. At least I was near her pond and I started taking its water and quickly splashed it towards the fire and I was out. To my surprise she was already out. Her parents had already called the fire department so I immediately ran away.(small cough) She was in her back yard with a cracker and burst it on my site and quickly escaped the fire, not to mention she is my neighbour. I can’t do this, I can’t stay with her, I have to go.

You want to know what happened? You really wanna know? Okay let me tell you,

One day, A very boring and usual day, I went outside to tell the guard about the package we received, and how the delivery person would come back to return it. I saw a very young dog under the tree of my house, that had some scratches on his back. When he woke up, we fed him, and gave him some milk. towards the end of the day, he left the shade under our tree, and we couldn't see him for a couple of days.

-----------------------1 week later--------------------------
I was just preparing for the pop quiz of Tuesday, I did all of my work, and then I realized it was time for cycling, I went downstairs, and my friends were waiting for me. My parents were also there, they were going for a drive, I got on my bike, and my friends an I, we went down the same route as usual, the 3 kilometers, the circle-ish turn,
we passed through the same abandoned house, It's sign was written in Hindi, it said "यह मकान बिकाऊ नहीं है" In black paint. I read that sign, every time I took the third turn, but this time, it felt different, the speed bump on the turn was scarier, you had to slow down harshly to avoid falling down, I almost fell, my friend stopped to get a packet of bread from the store opposite to the house, I waited for him and we both saw a dog on the roof of that house, my friend and I went in after locking up our bikes across the fence of the store. It was Dark, like really dark, there was dust around the house, the ceilings were half broken and it was terrifying, I thought that this house was nearly a couple of decades old to be in this condition. We heard a dog bark again, but this time it sounded like the dog was in distress, we got our cell phones out, to flash our torches, so that we could see in the creaking darkness, we went up the fragile stairs, and it was breathtaking to know that the stair could break any second. We noticed it was getting dark, and my father called me saying that "it is nearly 7, come back home." I went back to my house, and after eating dinner, I couldn't stop thinking about that dog. I called my friend an I said that "we will go there again tomorrow at 6, okay" He agreed. After my online classes ended at the usual 2 o clock, I wrapped up all of my work by 6. We went to the house, we looked around and we felt a zephyr Hit my Face, I thought to myself that I can't stay here, I have to go, this is too scary for me" Ausam (My friend) Followed me, we went back home and continued with our lives as normal, but I couldn't stop thinking about that dog, that dog in distress, turned out to be behind that house, having a playfight with his friends on the new construction height, I found out that when I went around the house to avoid the new sewage construction that was going on on my usual route. I noticed that the dog had the same scratches on his back that were on the dog that was resting under the tree of my house. After that day, I fed him, I gave him water, and took care of him and I even trained him, until he hit the age of 1 year, then we sent him to the nearby adoption shelter, so that he could join a family and live happily ever after.

I was coming back from lunch from the Joe's and Moe's. I see this person selling flyers to participate in a lottery ticket. And I readily agreed as I needed some money to pay off my rent.

You know why this happened? You really want to know? Okay, let me tell you.
*silence*
You. Lied. To. Me.
But not just to me. You lied to our parents, you lied to your friends, you lied to your wife and your child. You lied to everyone.
I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen the proof with my own eyes. My brother, the same person who used to buy me ice cream when I cried, who used to stand up for children who got bullied on the school bus, who used to be my role model, is a felon.
*silence*
That’s right. I know. Don’t try to deny it, you’ll only make it worse. My only question is - (voice breaking) why? Why would you sell the stuff that has ruined countless lives and taken more? Why would you break the law? Don’t say you did it for money; there are many honest ways of earning a living without dealing in drugs. And now you are going to face the consequences of your actions.
(angrily) But you know what’s worse? You never told us about any of this, and you probably never would have. We found out about your betrayal through the police, right after they caught you and took you for trial. Mom and dad were heartbroken; they cried for days.
(coldly) And this is why I can’t call you my brother anymore.

ou know what happened?you really wanna know??okay let me tell you,

It was a Monday and I was studying Algebra and was getting really bored. I was thinking, can't I study something other than Algebra? It's so boring and it's of no use. I thought that I shouldn’t be thinking about all of this, I was12 years old and I was acting like a 7 year old. I was doing my work until I heard my elder sister shout. It seemed like she was shouting in happiness so I went to sneak up on her. When I secretly entered the room I wasn’t able to believe what I was witnessing. My sister playing video games, she positively told me that she doesn’t like video games and it’s for idiots. These thoughts have got us in some fights, violent fights to be specific. I was so surprised to see this I started coughing...I immediately ran towards my room acting like I was studying. After 5 minutes my sister came into my room asking me if it was me who was coughing. I of course answered with no.... There was a moment of silence then my sister went back into her room. After sometime I told her that I caught her playing video games. She replied by saying that she found some games really interesting and we both started playing together. That was a really crazy incident
