these were words that many would describe taewoo, something that he was somewhat aware of. at times, it would bother him, but he trekked on with whatever life threw at him. sure, did it get him scammed a few times? yes. were there occasions where he nearly set the entire house on fire, trying to create the brunch of dreams (oreo pancakes, chocolate whipped cream, and bacon of course)? yes. however, he was a determined man who had good intentions. 

it was hard to bully him as a kid because of his kind nature. who would want to bully the kid who carried the elderly’s groceries from the market to their house? if anything, he was the one who landed in a fight or two with the bullies, trying to defend someone that day. however, many did worry for him, knowing that his good-hearted nature would land him in trouble oftentimes.

after high school, taewoo decided to wander around in life, he wasn't confident about schooling, but he didnt know what he wanted. instead, he wanted to see what life was like outside of his sheltered bubble and wanted to try things on his own. he didn’t have much of a plan, but had a sense of self and adventure.

a few mishaps along the way, he worked as a manny, where he met his ex-wife. she was somewhat like him, beautiful and determined. although that was where the similarities ended. fresh off her divorce, she originally wanted fun during her single life era.    

the two ended up falling for each other, caught up in a whirlwind romance. she made him quit his job and he ended up becoming a trophy household husband. once again, his family worried about him. she was older and a bit bullish, with a child of her own. he was a cherub compared to her. then there was the imbalance between them. she had the money and experience that could easily influence taewoo into whatever she wanted. however, his grandparents thought maybe she was the best thing for him. he would be taken care of, rather pampered in his case.

along the way, he was bored with his pampered life. after a few conversations (well arguments), he finally opened his first business, pets and the city. however, it was on her terms that they co-owned the business. she was worried about the shenanigans that would occur without her cautious guidance.

while tension laid under the surface, things seemed fine to him until his wife dumped him for a younger man. now taewoo has been thrown back out into the real world with little experience and perspective on how life really is. he has to learn how things truly work. like what are taxes? why are the rats extra large in his new apartment??? in the meanwhile he has to continue co-owning pets and the city with his ex, one of their main agreements in their ongoing divorce.

muse a was enjoying life, fresh off a divorce and free from her older wealthy ex-husband, when she met taewoo. he was the ideal guy at the time for her original intentions. frankly, she thought of him as one of many boy toys during her divorcee adventures. he was hot and dumb, someone to have fun with.

eventually, he charmed his way into her heart. unlike her ex, he was proud of her achievements and her successful career. he always supported her, doing whatever he could to help her along the way. beneath his exterior (the washboard abs and caramel eyes), he radiated kindness, a pleasant surprise for her. sure, people judged them for their differences. she was older than him, much more successful than him, and wealthier than him. she knew that her fiery personality was a 180 from his. somehow she fell for him and they got married.

the first few years were great, but all good things come to an end. she grew tired of him, kicking him out for another man. however, the two are still in their divorce proceedings while co-owning a business together.

let's find out what happened to taewoo on a saturday night! one sunday morning in a remote forest town, taewoo and muse a wake up underneath some blankets at an empty cabin. between them, they have a bad hangover, $2, and one phone with 1% battery while most of the town's people have gone to church, leaving them nearly stranded. there is no bus or train nearby. nobody wants to drive them back to wineport because it's a long drive and they could be potential serial killers. now taewoo and muse a have to figure out where they are and how to get back home.

taewoo is a sucker for street scammers, often getting pulled in to buying some useless dead sea salt scrubs for $75 when it’s only worth $5. it is partially why his ex kept tabs on him at all times. taewoo wanted to go out on a warm day. the sun was shining, the grass was glistening, and the birds were singing. wanting to make the best of the day, he ventured out by himself.

however, an oddly lurch looking figure approached taewoo and convinced him to take a free personality test. it was free, and they had snacks, chocolate milk specifically! however, muse a tries their best to get taewoo away from lurch. after all lurch works for scientology and only wants to suck him dry of his money. who will win the tug-of-war arm battle for taewoo? muse a or scientology?

it’s on this first date he’s forced to go on, he finds himself in the oddest place. a marriage counselor’s office. muse a thinks it’s hilarious to see how long it will take for the counselor to realize they’re not married. taewoo is confused, but can’t wrap his mind around muse a’s distinct sense of fun and humor.

seol taewoo moved back home a few years ago because of his ex-wife. despite the divorce, the two stayed in town. not just for their dog café, but also because of a bigger mess: taewoo’s grandfather is under investigation for a laundry list of financial crimes.

stupidly rich and equally paranoid, the old man hid his fortune under taewoo’s name because who would ever suspect the himbo? no one told taewoo about it, especially after he mistook an nft for a digital sticker (was he wrong, though??).

now, a mysterious prosecutor arrives in town, looking for the true identity behind the initials “t.s.” (and no, not taylor swift). when she stumbles across taewoo, she pretends to need his help, all while working to uncover the truth and ending up in bed together. sometimes he’s a little too helpful.
