Mary Clanchy guarantees an endowment to the Sisters of Mercy and Catherine McAuley during their stay in Charleville. Mary Clanchy's marriage with Arthur French of Elphin caused her to change her mind about the previous agreement of giving the sisters an appropriate house for living until the completion of their convent. Mother Catherine believed that God brought her and the sisters of mercy to Charleville; decided not to give up like the French Sisters until the last penny of Mary Clanchy €500 was gone. As the situation was dire in Charleville which remains a sick branch; one of the sisters of mercy had contracted the sickness symptoms. Facing these issues, Catherine desperately prayed to the Lord and decided on November 29, 1836, together with Sister M. Clare Moore to traveled from Charleville at 3 am to Limerick to receive the Holy communion before proceeding with their trip towards Dublin.

Even though she promised Bishop Murphy, she preferred Accepting the request of Bishop Edward Nolan to go to Carlow. He requested her to allow him to be fully responsible for some of her Sisters of Mercy. From small shopkeeper savings, the Bishop received a benefaction of €7,000; with this grateful gift from that person, he invited the Sisters of Mercy to his congregation in which the sisters arrived on April 11, 1837. After three months had passed since opened her Institution in Carlow, she established her fifth convent on July 6, 1837, in Rutland, Cork. Both Bishop John Murphy and the delegation of clergy and citizens received them with a welcome and guided them to South Presentation convent for mass and breakfast, in which after in a house Miss Barbara let them settled in and use it as they saw fit. The foundress, Catherine McAuley chose the South Presentation Convent which holds great value for the congregation as the subject novitiate for her aboard institution at Bermondsey in the diocese of Southwark. In Cork, she assigned Sister M. Clare Moore as a temporarily superior of the English monastery and it's where she first became acquainted with Father Theobald Mathew.

The first rumblings of the pastoral dispute lasted long after the death of Sr. M. Ann Agnes. From Bishop, John Murphy was taking place after the death of Sr. M. Ann Agnes. Mother Catherine wrote in a reference to Kingstown in January 1838, where She let him know that about her fears, struggles, and efforts to improve the situation in Kingston. When Kingstown closed in November, the Blessed Sacraments were retired. She had an overflowing heart, that is why she wrote a letter to Sister M. Teresa expressing her love for and pleasing her, having her son's lover, and not allowing her not to be sad. The removal of the Blessed Sacrament from Sussex Place and the closing of Kingston caused greater grief to Mother Catherine than any other insults and nicknames like 'cheater and liar' people called her before. The foundress send a letter addressed to Sister M.

The practice of the spiritual life helps to understand the works of the Lord. It even helps to have a closer relationship with God. For us to engage in the spiritual life, must do prayers for people, help one another, pray for ourselves, be kind, humble etc. Some people may think that just by praying we love God but its more than that. We have to worship God with all our hearts. We have to give thanks to him for the days of life he gives us. Trust in the lord because he knows what he is doing. God sent his only son, Jesus, to die for us and it shows me that Jesus gave his life for us so we have to spread and talk about the word of God. WHO SHARED OR LIVED BY THESE LIFESTYLES??

In this page the main point is that Mother Catherine made the Galway Foundation. This made in honor of Mary Bourke's death. By the end of the month of June the foundation of Galway was prospering. It had become a success for Mother Catherine. Since the foundation was in a good position Catherine wanted to go back to Dublin. Father Peter Daly did not want to let her go because he thought that if Catherine left, the foundation would have a downfall. Father Hanlon sent a letter to Father Daly writing that SHE -CATHEREINE (NOT HIM)he was sick. In this case it became Catherin McCauley's excuse to return to Dublin.

This page is telling us that our love for God can the biggest in the world but we need to demonstrate it. Catherine McCauley thought that it was a good idea to open a mercy hospital and it worked. Since Catherine was the most experienced sister, she was going to be the one run the hospital. With her leadership skills, the mercy hospital would be huge success. Even Catherine herself thought that if she left, there would be a downfall in the hospital. Even if we show our deep love for God by making something for him, we must embrace it and make much more wonderful things for him. We would become busy with all the work but God would be proud of our works for him I AM LOST AS TO KEY POINTS NOT EXPRESSED HERE IN THIS PAGE!!!.

We might come across some very bad sickness but we must not worry because God is always with us. He is with us in the good times and the bad times. He will be there to lay his healing hands on us. After sometime we will get better and we can therefore continue doing marvelous works for God. Travelling all over the world, continuing to do works of God, will make more people join you in the works for God. THIS IS NOT A SUMMARY OF THE PAGE...TOO GENERAL AND VAGUE!
