I’m a quiet, reserved person who would happily spend a whole day hiding alone in a corner: not the typical leader-type who can go around and rally the troops, then. Yet over the years I’ve learnt to be more comfortable with people, to be able to come out of my shell quite willingly to engage with others, and the result of that has been fairly refreshing, making me realise that while I still do have the option of returning to that corner (sometimes), it’s also nice to interact with those around me and expose myself to different ideas and opinions.
