TRECA 8th Grader

The fate of a tree in air. Shall be blown and torn apart.
The air is nice to feel sometimes but the trees cry when blown by the air.
The fate of a tree in fire. Will be burnt to a crisp. Fall apart and never be a survivor of fires flames. The golden beauty of death. The tree will scream in pain.
The fate of a tree in ice. Will be frozen like a winter wonderland of beauty. If the tree shall shake the ice spears of death shall fall. The tree will beg that the ice doesn't hit its feet.
If water boils over anger a flood shall occur. The tree shall be drowned. The water will run over then stomp the tree and run over it again. The tree shouts and begs and cries as it needs air to breathe.
Can you survive the fate of the tree when your four elements attack?

That smile of yours makes it burn brighter everyday. I feel warm and safe when im with you.

When i worry about you my eyes pour like rain crashing from above. Its like busting damns as to flood cities below. Everyday i fall harder and harder for you but the rivers in my mind flood my thoughts like a warning. A warning i ignore day after day all because my love for you.

Everytime i go outside, everytime i see the blue sky it makes me think of your eyes. They have a beautiful shade of blue that's hard not to stare at and admire. Sometimes i see those storm clouds and i want to make them disappear in the wind. Everytime i see a tree, everytime i see the brown bark and the dirt i think of your hair and how goofy you are with it.

When i go outside on a windy day, when the wind blows hard it reminds me how you take my breath away when you smile and when you look at me you're so beautiful inside and out that it takes my breath away day after day!

I just started taking a pottery class at a local art center. It is something that I've always wanted to try. This is one of my very first pieces. The sun is often viewed as a symbol of hope, representing the promise of a new day and the potential for a better future. It rises every morning, bringing light and warmth to the world, and reminding us that there is always a new beginning. I am finally starting to feel this kind of hope again after the bleakness of the past few years with the pandemic.

This incredible fog is the result of water, air, earth, and fire. The 2018 Lower Puna Eruption on The Island of Hawai'i destroyed roughly 700 homes, covered thousands of acres of land, and created hundreds of acres of new land along the coast. Five years later, the remnants of heat from deep within these cooling lava flows are so strong that rocks on the surface and steam in the air feel warm. The intensity of these elements and the absolute silence in the wake of so many homes lost, creates an eerie, otherworldly feel. While foreign to us, the power of these elements have long shaped the world we know, and will continue to shape the landscape for the rest of time.

My artwork "disturbance in the water" is a piece about a popular mythical creature, the siren. There have been many different versions of the siren, it originates from Greek mythology and it was originally a half-woman half-bird, over the years it been mixed with mermaids through legends of beautiful half-women half-fish drowning fisherman at sea. I was also inspired by old pictures and found footage of sea creatures, such as the loch ness monster and the lake Champlain monster.
