Some conventions of an interview would be:

-questions, with answers, and the latter would take up the most space on the page

-qs would avoid yes/no answers

-qs would be on a specific topic, and in a language suitable for the intended readers and the interviewee.

I think it’s nice to show off use of rhetoric in speeches. While emails are nicer when written in a sincere manner, like a one-on-one dialogue. Journal can be more colloquial and interesting, yet without hindering punctuation and grammar.
