         <description><![CDATA[<div>He was born in December 21 1401 in the Tuscan province of Arezzo. He latter died in autumn 1428. Masaccio did not get prior much prior training be fore his career. Usually young boys in the middle ages would get apprenticeships. There they would copy the artist style and make it there own. No one know what Masaccio id from when he was born to his first major painting was finished. This leaves a huge gap in his story and many questions to be asked.&nbsp;(Masaccio)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Masaccio was one of the three main artist that changed art during the Renaissance. He created a standard for realism. He used shading to enhance the values. Paintings began to have big rays of light in them and dark shadows that enhanced the realism. He not only began to use perspective, but emotion as well to almost tell a story.&nbsp;(Auffenberg)</div>]]></description>
