I know that on Shavuot, you read מגילת רות. I also know that it starts with Elimelech, and it ends with the generations of I think the family.

I know that you read it on Shavuot. The story of Shavuot begins with Elimelech, Naomi, and their two sons traveled from Bethlehem to Moab because Elimelech did not want to give food to poor people during the famine. In Moab Elimelech's sons marry Ruth and Orpah who are both Moabite women.

I don't remember much but I know her name is rut someone dies she moves with her friend Naomi and their sons and this guy name Etilelsomething or another. Where she moves she sees a field corner not eaten.
