K.I.D.S is an incredible album Mac made with Rostrum studios back in 2010. The album has & songs als of which have pretty silly names such as (kool aid & frozen pizza) or Nikes on my feet). My favorite songs on this album are Knock Knock and The spins.

Knock Knock is a song about showing up all the people who said he wouldn't make money. some quotes being (People amazed i was still in high school but now im out what im bout Trying to get so much money i cant keep count) this quote is what shows me that this song is about his resilience and growing up.

The Spins is by far my favorite Mac Miller song. As I'm a senior in high school and a being a person highly influenced by the internet. One of the biggest trends I saw last year was people dancing to the spins when they graduate high school. In the song The Spins there's a Lyric ( Oh yeah I just graduated high school). It's a silly trend but the thought of being able to celebrate with my sister who is also graduating in June to this song makes me hope. Mac was a person who came from the bottom up and I've struggled through most of my life. I find resilience is the most powerful and impact.

Mac Millers fashion sense was heavily influenced by hip hop Street wear. often seen in tee-shirts and snap back hats. the tees were normally adorned with graphics of important artists that influenced him. he also often wore sneaker or shirts inspired by skate culture.

As Mac grew as an artist so did his sense of still moving from Street wear to more high-class fashion. wearing more expensive clothes and jewelry. Along with more designer shoes

Towards the end of Macs life he wore a lot of retro inspired outfits with layers and jackets. Wearing lots of bold patterns and designs. Mixing up different patterns and textures like denim and a pattered shirt. Mac had a partnership with Neff head-wear . creating beanies hats and clothing with some of his quotes like "most dope" a lot of his clothing as adorned with funky patterns. #Mac #patterns #Beanie #Mostdope #neff #retro

This article was very helpful with learning about his fashion style. https://medium.com/@leapiceshop/mac-miller-fashion-the-best-reflection-of-artistry-individuality-and-self-expression-d2b29e2d9dbf#:~:text=In%20his%20early%20days%2C%20Mac,rebellious%20nature%20of%20the%20genre.

Mac Miller was a talented person from a young age. Having a strong affinity for music from such a young age. Mac was inspired by artists and albums from all ranges from the Beatles to Bob Dylan and John Lennon.

Another one of Macs favorite albums was princes 1987 controversy album. He was quoted saying " prince is my idol that's who I aspire to be like". Prince invited Mac to one of his shows knowing that Mac was a huge fan. Sadly Mac couldn't attend because he was shooting a video still excited Abt that chance.

Mac wasn't just inspired by older artists which there is a long list off like wu tang kanye and schoolboy Q. Mac was inspired by artists of is own era as well as he went on to collaborate with the weekend and Ariana grande. Eventually creating the song Cinderella about her. some people suspect that his album the divine feminine is about ari as well. as well as Wiz Khalifa who he attended high school with. #arianagrande #Macmiller #WizKhalifa #prince #inspiration

The album I want to focus on for this post is The divine feminine By Mac Miller. The Divine Feminine is an album meant to spread courage and honoring what Mac has learned from women over the years. Making Rap music with beautiful harmony and piano. The first song on the album is congratulation and the last song is God is fair sexy nasty.

Congratulations Is a song about mans true divine love for women. In this song Mac sings about romance and loving women as if they are on a divine level. Showing his respect for the women in his life and past.

Cinderella is a song on The Divine feminine that was made about fellow artist Ariana Grande. Ariana was Mac Millers partner for awhile breaking up wit him only a short time before he overdosed. Cinderella is about his love and intimacy with Ariana. A quote from cinderella that i love most is "Ooh Cinderella don't you run out of time It feels like you've been taking all day Wherever you came from, wherever you going
I promise I'm not far behind"

this Album all around is full of amazing melodies and the impact it created was large helping break down barriers between love spirituality and sex. #macmiller #thedivinefeminine #arianagrande #congraulations #Harmony
