In the fifth grade i had a teacher who was rude and treated class like a prison, she acted as if we were just her pay check and nothing more. I had bad grades at the time due to poor teaching and lack of help, I was even getting bullied and I felt like I had no one to go to. I eventually switched schools and in the 6th grade I ended up with another bad teacher, but on the Brightside I had 3 other classes that I went to throughout the week depending on the day and they made my life so much easier by being kind and showing they care about students and treating us with respect. And finally, in the 9th grade I had the worst teacher, she was boring, rude, unorganized and blamed students for her poor teaching, it got so bad that my mom had to come to the school an have a meeting with the teacher. Another thing is the lack of diversity in the school system, throughout me being in school, I've only ever had 2 black teachers, one of which was a graduate assistant. I spent my summers of 2018 and 2019 heling coach at my old high school and I loved it. My coach there even believed I had a future in coaching seeing how well I handled helping ad seeing how much I actually knew about the sport. Seeing how much I helped those kids just through a sport only increased my want to be a teacher. That doesn't sit right with me because that will make the first student feel like they can get away with anything and like they're better than everyone else and the other student will slack and feel like they don't matter.
