1. Interactive 
Students relate more to technology as it's something they understand
2. Motivating
It gives students an incentive (for e.g. gamification, they look forward to new modes of learning)
3. Convenience 
It's quicker and easier. (For e.g google classroom is a good forum to keep all information together, and google spreadsheets is a convenient place to write marks down.)

Cons:
1. Distraction - students may focus more on the tools of teaching as opposed to the actual content of the subject
2. Not every student is often well versed in technology, thus they may have a difficult time learning
3.
