         <description><![CDATA[<div><em>Day 1</em>: Student reads selected text out loud. &nbsp; (Either whole text, or part of book, depending on length).&nbsp; &nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;Number of errors and time taken to read are recorded.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;Teacher (or other adult) then reads text , student listens. <br><em>Day 2</em>: &nbsp;</div><div>Student and adult read the same text simultaneously. (doesn't matter if student doesn't keep up, or gets words incorrect) .</div><div><em>Day 3</em>: Student and adult take turns reading page/paragraph each. Student takes book home, reads to parents/carers.<br><em>Day 4</em>: Student reads the text to adult.&nbsp; During the day, reads to peers, and own teacher (if not the original helping adult).<br><em>Day 5</em>: Post test (timed, with number of errors.&nbsp; Celebrate improvement, no matter how small!&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
