Virtual reality and augmented reality are used by teachers in other countries of course yes, in virtual reality students can explore the environment through three-dimensional resources through the use and manipulation of virtual objects, processes and analysis. Studies indicate that virtual reality is a powerful tool for teaching because of its ability to provide immersive, multi-sensory and credible environments, among other features, the countries where virtual reality is most used are Japan and the European Union.
Augmented reality has been widely used by teachers through learning applications in English, biology and chemistry. From now on, students can discover molecular diagrams and biological structures through 3D colored images. The countries that use augmented reality the most are the United States and China.

What is virtual reality and what is it for?

Virtual reality (VR) displays a life-like environment of scenes and objects created with computer technology that gives the user the feeling that they are immersed in it. This environment is observed by the user thanks to glasses or a virtual reality helmet.

Some examples of virtual reality would be video games such as:

Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: Mission VR

Minecraft

EVE: Valkyrie – Warzone

Doom VFR

These are some games where you can use virtual reality for a better experience.

What is augmented reality and what is it for?

Augmented Reality (AR) assigns the interaction between virtual environments and the physical world, allowing both to intermingle through a technological device such as webcams, mobile phones (IOS or Android), tablets, among others.

In other words, AR embeds virtual objects in the physical context and displays them to the user using the interface of the real environment with the support of technology.
