Painting requires years of mastery and practice, just like the famous painters. I was able to learn that painting is not just about using water colors but stylistically mixing colors, emphasizing depths, contrasting of colors and balancing the art. I learned that technique is very important. A painter must learn how to show the movement in the painting, harmony of colors, rhythm and he must also make sure that the materials used are used properly. Lastly, painting does not emphasize on the subject alone, but its entirety. Subject does not act along for it is related to every element in the painting like the details, shadows, colors used, materials used, movement and more. All i know is that I can use water color and create images. Knowing all these stuff about painting, I want to learn how to apply it by creating my on painting. I want to learn the basics on painting and how I can make one. I also want to learn how to express my feelings in this form of art. I would also want to be an inspiration for other people by motivating them to create their own painting as well. Lastly, I want to learn how it can influence my life and how important it is to influence the culture in the Philippines.
