         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Identify, organize and present ideas on a range of topics.<br><br>Students shall be given a topic in line with one of the five themes. They shall be required to state the kind of test they are going to write (a blog, a mail, a letter etc.). Time given is one hour and marks allocated are 15 as per the IB paper sample.<br>They shall be provided a word bank and they shall also be given the pattern.<br><br>Once they have submitted their work, it shall be checked and mistakes shall be discussed + their text shall also be improved.<br><br>As there won't be enough time, they shall complete it as home assignment.<br><br>2. Understand, analyse and reflect upon a range of written, audio, visual and audio-visual texts.<br><br>This objective is partly related to listening. This shall be done by playing a text which shall align with one of the five themes. They shall be required to listen to the audio twice at normal speed and answer the questions. The text will then be explained for further clarification.<br><br></div>]]></description>
