Synthesis is very difficult to describe to middle school students who don't have a good grasp on physics. Having animations that can be manipulated via a mouse cursor or touchscreens to teach how higher frequencies move faster and make higher sounds, and how the shape of the wave changes the timbre was incredibly helpful. Reading Sheet Music

When I was first learning how to play the piano and read sheet music, I struggled to remember what lines on the staff corresponded to which notes. When my teacher used the pneumonic Every Good Boy Does Fine, it was easier for me to remember the notes corresponding to the lines of the treble clef. It entered my working memory and then as I practiced reading sheet music more, I began to be able to read the notes without using the pneumonic (it solidified in long term memory).

During my undergrad my roommate introduced me to golf. He was on the golf team and was an exercise science major. This made him an excellent teacher for actually explaining the bodily mechanics of a golf swing. The biggest takeaway I got from his instruction was how your hips should be the engine of the swing, rather than your upper body.

When I first came to OU and started working with football I had to learn how to evaluate a transcript for prospects and we had someone from academics come and show us step by step on a projector to help us learn how to do it.

Back when I played Varsity Tennis in High School, I got the opportunity to meet Jelena Ostapenko and to watch my coach player a few points against her. This was so that we could watch her form vs his form to see the different forms and to learn from watching her. We even got to play a few practice rallies against her for funsies.
