My flyer was chosen for advertising or spreading the word for the event. I know one of the people who were on the ballot personally so it was very cool to design something, not directly, for her. This was a very large project, we made 8 things in total and it was a lot but once I had my basic idea it got a lot easier. I liked trying to figure out designing with the Kearney K and ways to incorporate "spirit-y" words into the design. I like how the word spirit stands out so much and then you see Kearney. I made the letters purple water and at the top it starts blending with the black shirt. I thought it looked very cool and the yellow letters really stand out, same with the bulldog. I thought that they looked very nice together and it was actually somewhat challenging to get it to look like that. I thought this design was simple enough to go with whatever color they paint the counselors' walls but I also think that it's not dull so it will stand out on the wall.
