         <title>William A. Clark</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>William A. Clark was one of the most influential Robber Barons in the 19th century. He was born in 1839 near Connellsville, Fayette County. He began as a miner, and in 1863 he went to Montana to find his fortune in the new gold fields. William was the developer of the southern California sugar beet industry. He also made a lot of money in the mining and extracting copper industry. He was also&nbsp;the president of the 1889 Montana constitutional convention. He died in 1838 in St. Louis, MO.          <title>Henry Clay Frick</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Henry Clay Frick was born in December 1849 in West Overton, Pennsylvania. In 1870 he began operating a coke industry. The name of his company was "Frick &amp; Co."&nbsp; When he was 30 years old he was already rich. His company was the most popular and largest in the world. Henry's company had got the attention of many business men, Andrew Carnegie was one of them. Andrew had immense investments in the steel industry, and because of that both of them formed a partnership. Their partnership benefited both companies.          <title>James J. Hill</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>James J. Hill was born in 1838 in  Ontario, Canada. he began working for a steamboat company in Minnesota. In 1879 he began a company that transformed the old and bankrupt railroad company into a successful railroad company. He expanded his company through the Pacific and Washington and named it "Great Northern Raildroad Company." This company was really important because it had expansions in the U.S. Northwest. James J.          <title>Marshall Field</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Marshall Field was born in 1834 in Conway, MA.  In 1861 he became the the general manager and a partner of the company where he was working(Wadsworth and Company).  In 1881 Wadsworth Company was completely managed by Marshall Field. The company managed different things. These were the selling of wholesale dry goods, the manufactured dry goods, and it also had its own buying offices all over the world. He died on 1906 in New York City.          <title>J. P. Morgan</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>J. P. Morgan was born in 1837, in Hartford, Connecticut. In 1861 he was the agent for his father’s banking company. In 1871 he became a partner in the Drexel firm. At that time, this company was really important because it was the predominant source of U.S government financing. It was one of the most important banks in the world. His company helped him reorganized railroads in 1885, these were the New York Central Railroad and the Pennsylvania Railroad. These were the two largest railroads in the country. By 1902 he was one of the world’s most powerful railroad magnates.
