This year as an ambassador of Greek Safer Internet Center (SaferInternet4Kids.gr) I organized in Ioannina of Greece an event in order to inform teachers, parents and students for a safer and better internet. I highlighted issues like sexting, sextorion, cyberbulling, social media, grooming, addiction, video games.

Over the last 5 years I have participated in several SIDs, by showing videos on older pupils and making activities with younger pupils (puzzles, quiz, crosswords, ...).
We also have a section of a wall in our computer lab where we post our work.

Since 2015, my school participates on our national SID events organized by Cyprus Pedagogical Institute. Furthermore, we organize several activities within the school such as poster competitions, workshops etc. One of the activities took place this year's SID, was a training session for school personnel by students on internet safety issues. Additionally a poster competition on the theme of 2017 SID was announced among students participating in foreign languages courses.

In SID 2017 we organized an open to the public event (parents, grandparents, educators, students) where a well known short film (Tagged) was presented in order to discuss the topic of cyberbullying. Next, we used an online quiz with important topics of safer use of internet to provoke the audience for expressing their thoughts, beliefs, prejudices, etc, and we tried to stimulate a frame of foundamental principles. We did the same in some classrooms with pupils. Also, we introduced some fake news we had prepared earlier in order they to realize how easy is to produce a fake "reality".

At my work we noticed this day every day during this week by putting out messages on our Facebook-site. We suggested tips for how to handle harassment and how to make a Safer Internet for everyone. I have never participated in the SID but I think to do so next year, making invent and create the guys, as authentic task, a table full-size game. They themselves must in fact be human pieces that move in a board through predetermined commands (Coding activity). At each junction, you will have to answer to a question, and depending on the response further, stopping a turn or go back.

We supported the theme and the students participated and it was really an eye opener for the teachers and students. They were able to learn what it expected when online. Alot of children were sharing inappropriate images but thanks to the SID2017. We have a better e -safety policy in place

In my school, the celebration of Safer Internet Day was coordinated by ICT teachers.

I participated in Safer Internet Day this year and the previous yr. I used material from the SID UK which I found really interesting and motivating for students. I chose activities with some of my students who are part of our school's Social Media Team and we were invited by Primary/Lower secondary teachers to their classes. Activities were carried out by students for younger students. I coordinated and monitored their work. It came out really well.

Have participated in recent years. This year worked with pupils in several schools in the weeks before and after SID using the excellent resources which helped them think about different issues not necessarily covered otherwise. In one school produced a newspaper for the whole school and parents.

As part of the Spanish SIC team, we have been participanting in the last editions of the Safer Internet Day... for us, it is a special annual date! :-) On 2017, we have launched a quiz among schools. Each participating school sent us a mannequin challenge video with messages of how they stayed safety online. And also, we run different workshops for pupils, teachers and parents, disseminating SID messages on our social networks and website. I do participate in CID about years. Every year for a SID week my students prepare posters, organize thematic lessons and discussions on topics of safe Internet. In Lithuania there is a collaborative platform "Who needs it?". (now it is busiu.eu) This platform is an intermediary between the different areas of professional, willing to share their experiences, as well as schools, seeking to give the students real life knowledge. With their help we organize events and projects of a Safer Internet week.
