I went there with my Grandparents. From Pune we went to Mahabaleshwar to see the breath-taking view of the plateaus there. The guide who worked there told us that many popular movies were shot in Mahabaleshwar. I remember the fun horse ride I took there with the cold wind hitting my face. There are many pictures of me and my family in the joyful atmosphere of Mahabaleshwar. Then, we visited the Bhima Shankar temple. It was freezing cold there and it was soothing to stand barefoot on the cold marble floor. When we were in the car to get back home, the dark fog blocked our path which made it impossible to see the roads from the mist-covered windows of the car. Only the black branches of the trees were visible. It was a sight to remember. An old woman who lived there told us a myth associated with the temple. I thought of her as courageous to be able to live at such a place with freezing temperatures and the mountainous terrain.]]> 2021-04-16 14:16:23 UTC https://padlet.com/sethvartika03/gl96o4qf9kv2qr1l/wish/1425550887 anikamathur925 https://padlet.com/sethvartika03/gl96o4qf9kv2qr1l/wish/1427714469  Me and my family were travelling the beautiful state of Sikkim, we were on our way to a place I suggested and wanted to go since the first day there, when we came across a beautiful lake the others decided to go there because of the  monumental beauty of the lake I was really upset but I got out of the car, while the others were enjoying the view I was standing there upset after a while I met a stranger who told me a little  story about the pas of the river. Upon hearing the story my emotional state of mind was lifted and I didn't almost forgot about Sikkim Himalayan Zoological Park and the understood the unbeatable view of the lake.
