My previous studies only skimmed these topics and left much untouched. I want to understand and explore the inequalities present in health care delivery and help to ensure that those inequalities are eventually resolved. After having recently been in labor, the new data on maternal mortality related to racial disparities is completely alarming and upsetting for me.
