I'm so interested in fashion and art, I used to work in an art gallery in Taipei city. During these years of work, I realised the importance of business and management in any industry as well as the art industry, so I decided to choose this subject at UCA. Another reason is that I want to give myself some rest time and get back to my role as a student. 
As a foreign student, there must be culture shock, and I think learning professional knowledge in English will be the biggest challenge I will face at UCA, but I believe that I can overcome it!

At the beginning, life was really hard, I had to spend two or three hours pre day in supermarkets just to understand what each product was, what it was used for, and what was those products in Japanese. At first, I did this just for living, but after three months, I found my Japanese ability improved greatly,  which I didn't expected and turned out really well. I found out that learning into life will be unknowingly rapid progress. From now on, I’m going to learn English in the same way so that it won't become a pressure. Paying homage to their Bulgarian roots, the LVMH Prize semi-finalist and BFC/Vogue Fund finalist designers are giving new life to forgotten Bulgarian fabrics. Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena create intricately handcrafted skirts and dresses from recycled materials and dead-stock textiles. With silhouettes ranging from schoolgirl minis in checked print to kilts made from a mix of vintage Bulgarian fabrics, the duo draws inspiration from Bulgarian folklore and 1980s rock climbing.
