They work to make the government aware of an issue they are passionate about and change the situation regarding it. An example of a pressure group is the  CBI (Confederation of British Industry), which represents 150,000 businesses.

They are interviews covering rather unspecific questions and topics making it have open ended answers which are more descriptive and personal. However, this can be a disadvantage because it makes the answers biased and more personal to the specific individual. Unstructured interviews are useful for questions involving personal opinion for example, "What can the college improve on" or "what about your classes do you enjoy". This research method collects quantitative and primary source data. It does this through having a set of questions for respondents to answer and send back to the researcher. The questions will most likely be closed ones, with answers limited to
