I chose this image because we interact with the plants in our environment in different ways to support daily life. We plant gardens and crops, which feed us and our livestock. Plants give us nutrients and oxygen; humans "give" plants carbon dioxide. Thus, we can sustain our environment and society.

He examines this process step by step so I can have a better understanding how and why photosynthesis takes place. I am not always an auditory learner, so the visuals he adds in really help!

The arctic tundra is the first biome that comes to mind when I think endangered. The tundra has many threats facing it, including climate change, air pollution, and industrial activity. The wildlife is dying here, with population of animals like the polar bear declining each year. There are some solutions to slowing down the process of killing this habitat, home, and ecosystem; for example, cutting the use of fossil fuels and creating protective restrictions on the endangered animals.

This diagram shows the development of agriculture during the Neolithic Revolution, based on the domestication of plants. The domestication had a significant impact on human life. Humans were able to create selective breeding and harvest. Thus, creating larger food supplies.

If present day agricultural, economic, social, and political practices go unchecked, then this is the type of world we would be viewing in the future. We would no longer be able to sustain ourselves or the environment. There would be waste, thick air pollution, and decay in all aspects of life. This is why sustainability is so important today, because everything we do impacts our lives and environment for the future.
