Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 5:10‭-‬12 NIV

Song title: Reign with Christ / Reigning King

Song idea: When we go through persecution and suffering, we can look to Christ who empowers us to rise above the situation, and respond in love and grace.

Concept:
As we live out His Kingdom values, we will face persecution from the world. How then should we respond? Think of how Jesus responded to persecution. He did not retaliate in anger, but responded as a reigning King by overlooking their offences. He released God's love and mercy to those who crucified him, as he asked God to forgive them. We can model after Christ in our response, so that we can rise above the situation, turning the hearts of the lost towards God. The pain and suffering is nothing compared to revealing His love, grace and mercy to the world.

Song title: Let Him Move

Song Idea: God can move and make changes in our lives for the greater benefit of his Kingdom.

Concept: When we ask God to move in our lives, God can literally move our possessions, our jobs, and even the people close to us (to another cell/tribe/church/relocated to another country). We just need to surrender and entrust these changes into God's hands, trusting that His ultimate plan and purpose prevails.
