This movie, starring Mel Gibson, is a very climatic movie that revolves around a select group of soldiers involved in the Vietnam War. The movie is a visualization of Bandwagon nations, nations who create alliance with larger, more influential nations to promote influence. In the movie, South Vietnam relies on the U.S. for support while North Vietnam relies on the Soviet Union. The movie also demonstrates a deterrent strategy, using threats to influence North Vietnam from invading South Vietnam.

This movie depicts the rise of Adolf Hitlers power through the ranks prior to World War II and his political and military influence of the world. This film demonstrates another cause of war, the gaining of economic and military power through force. As Hitler imposed threats on other nations, his empire grew with power. He made rational choices in pursuit of more power. Compellence is also demonstrated in the movie, showing other nations acting in ways that they would not normally do by either surrendering to aligning with the Nazi party.

This movie, staring Mel Gibson, is a movie revolving around the struggles of William Wallace and the rest of Scotland which was under English rule and power. The relationship resulted in a revolt against the English. The cause of war depicted is a nation of elites with a deprived working class below. The English was the elite country exercising their power over the poor working country of Scotland. The Scottish citizens became fed up and revolted against the English to gain basic rights and liberties. Crisis Policies can be depicted here, where a threat to national interests was being posed with the new English laws and much of the actions came at a surprise.
